Tyrone joined EY-Seren in October 2017, as a Visual Designer. Before coming to us he freelanced after graduating from his degree in user-centred graphic communication.
“After I graduated I just wanted to experience as many types of company as I could. I feel like it is something that university doesn’t really equip you for; the sheer diversity of options available.
I was drawn to EY-Seren because of their customer-centric approach to design; it really resonated with my training. I was initially worried that the environment might be a bit ‘corporate’ and inflexible, but I soon learned that it is the opposite.
There is a real community feel to the office and our work approach, and it’s a fun place to be. Everyone works together to find solutions and the expertise in my team has really helped me refine my career goals. Before I focussed on the aesthetics of my designs, now I am learning to balance this with creating superior user journeys and telling a story with the journeys I design.”
The most surprising thing about being here?
“The tight social element. Curry club, cake club, lunches out, drinks after work…the list goes on.”
